The Role
- Lead a class of motivated pupils through their final year of primary school, preparing them confidently for secondary transition and SATs.

- Identify gaps in understanding, provide timely intervention, and challenge high achievers.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
- (If applicable) Lead a subject area or phase, supporting colleagues and contributing to whole-school development.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching in Key Stage 2 – Year 6 preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum, assessment, and SATs preparation.
- Calm, confident, and reflective practitioner.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A teacher who thrives in a collaborative, inclusive, and fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to take on subject or phase leadership (if seeking a TLR).
