Our Client is looking for a Geography ECT to work within a vibrant and ambitious mixed secondary school in Durham. The successful ECT will teach KS3 & KS4 and be supported by a friendly, experienced team.

School Information: This large 11–18 school has 1,150 students and continues to achieve excellent academic results, with 90% of pupils achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The Geography department promotes curiosity and global understanding through engaging lessons and fieldwork experiences. ECTs benefit from structured mentoring, team planning sessions, and personalised CPD. Staff describe the environment as professional yet supportive, with strong relationships between staff and senior leaders.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Geography ECT with the ability to teach KS3 & KS4
  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • Legal right to work within the UK

Salary: Paid to scale on MPS / UPS
