Job Overview
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a History Teacher to join a forward-thinking school with high expectations for both staff and pupils. The successful candidate will teach History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and contribute to the continued development of the subject.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver well-planned and engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Develop pupils’ historical knowledge, analysis and evaluation skills
- Prepare pupils effectively for GCSE examinations
- Use assessment information to identify areas for intervention
- Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
- Establish positive relationships with pupils and colleagues

Candidate Requirements
- QTS or recognised teaching qualification
