About the Role
The successful DT Technician will work closely with teaching staff to ensure practical lessons are well prepared and workshops are maintained to a high standard. You will support students during practical activities while helping teachers deliver an effective and engaging DT curriculum.
Key responsibilities include:

Preparing materials, tools and equipment for practical lessons.

Supporting teachers and students during workshop activities.

Maintaining, cleaning and organising tools and machinery.

Monitoring stock and ordering materials when required.

Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs where appropriate.

Ensuring workshops are safe, clean and well organised.

Following relevant health and safety procedures.

Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the DT department.
