Are you an innovative and creative Design & Technology Teacher eager to inspire the next generation of designers, engineers, and problem-solvers? A well-established and forward-thinking independent school in Dorset is seeking an enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join its highly regarded Technology Faculty from January 2026. The Role

You will teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 to 5, guiding pupils through projects that encourage creativity, precision, and technical understanding. Lessons will integrate CAD/CAM, 3D printing, robotics, and sustainable design principles, preparing students for both examinations and real-world innovation. You will also be encouraged to lead extra-curricular initiatives such as engineering challenges, product design showcases, and eco-design projects, all of which form part of the school’s strong co-curricular offering. The department’s curriculum is designed to stretch high-achieving learners while fostering curiosity and independent problem-solving. You will have access to excellent technical support and a range of professional-grade machinery and software to enhance student learning.
