A well-resourced academy in Havering is seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Design & Technology with a focus on Graphics and Digital Design to join their faculty from January 2026.
Seeking an enthusiastic ECT skilled in Digital Design, CAD/CAM, and Graphics/Product Design. You will teach DT across KS3-KS5. The role includes developing your technical safety knowledge and utilising the department's specialist machinery, supported by a strong technician team and mentor.
Experience and Qualifications- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS by January 2026.
- Relevant degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, or DT.
- Strong skills in CAD/CAM software (e.g., 2D Design, Fusion 360) and 3D printing.
- Commitment to developing a deep understanding of workshop safety and practice.
The DT department is exceptionally well-resourced with modern machinery, dedicated computer suites, and excellent technician support. We offer a comprehensive ECT programme, a dedicated subject mentor, and a generous Outer London salary.
