Role: Teacher of Drama – KS3–KS4
Location: Beccles, Suffolk
Contract: Full-time, permanent

Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience
A secondary school in Beccles is looking for a Drama Teacher to strengthen its performing arts provision. The successful applicant will help pupils develop performance techniques, confidence, collaboration and the ability to evaluate theatrical work.
The Role
Teach Drama across KS3 and KS4.
Deliver practical sessions in improvisation, devising and scripted performance.
Teach theatrical terminology and performance analysis.
Prepare GCSE pupils for practical and written assessments.
Support school productions and extracurricular activities where required.
The Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has a strong background in Drama and performance.
Can manage practical lessons safely and effectively.
Encourages creativity while maintaining clear expectations.
