We are currently seeking a reliable, practical and community-minded Caretaker to join a friendly and well-regarded primary school in Dorchester. - Opening, securing and maintaining the school site
- Carrying out minor repairs, maintenance and decorating
- Monitoring and maintaining heating, lighting and alarm systems
- Ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness and safety
- Undertaking health & safety checks and reporting hazards
- Supporting school events and liaising with contractors
- Maintaining external areas including playgrounds and pathways
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous caretaking or premises experience desirable
- Strong practical maintenance skills
