A forward-thinking and well-resourced Good-rated school in Suffolk is looking to appoint an experienced and creative Design & Technology Teacher for an immediate start. This is a full-time, permanent position within a dynamic DT department committed to delivering practical, innovative, and skill-based learning.
About the Role
You will teach DT across KS3–KS4, specialising in Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, or Graphics depending on your strengths. Lessons emphasise problem-solving, rapid prototyping, CAD/CAM development, iterative design, and practical construction.
Workshops include:
- 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machinery
- CAD design software and digital modelling equipment
- Well-maintained traditional tools and machinery
- Dedicated technician support
You will also play a role in supporting coursework, assisting with controlled assessments, and guiding students as they build high-quality final pieces.
