We are currently seeking a highly motivated Design & Technology ECT to join an innovative and forward-thinking secondary school in Oxford. This full-time, permanent position starting January 2026 is ideal for a creative and enthusiastic DT specialist.

School Information

This Oxford school is celebrated for its modern approach to technical education, excellent facilities, and strong student engagement. The DT Department is equipped with CAD/CAM software, 3D printers, laser cutters, well-maintained workshops, and specialist technician support. The school provides exceptional induction and structured CPD for ECTs.

Role Information

You will teach DT across KS3–KS4, with opportunities to specialise in Product Design, Engineering, or Resistant Materials. You will support practical lessons, design projects, and contribute to design clubs or competitions.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree in DT, Product Design, Engineering, or similar
  • PGCE and QTS
  • Strong practical skills and confidence in workshop settings
  • Creativity and passion for design education

Salary

Paid to scale on MPS (ECT rates)
