Role Overview

The Exams Officer will oversee all aspects of internal and external examinations, ensuring full compliance with awarding body and JCQ regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing examination entries for GCSE and A Level
  • Liaising with awarding bodies (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, etc.)
  • Coordinating exam timetables
  • Organising mock examinations
  • Recruiting and training invigilators
  • Ensuring secure storage of exam materials
  • Managing access arrangements and special considerations
  • Overseeing results days and post-results services
  • Maintaining accurate candidate records
  • Producing exam data reports for SLT

The role requires exceptional organisational skills, precision, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Exams Officer or in examinations administration
