A busy secondary school in Dartford is seeking a reliable Science Technician to support its Science department. The successful candidate will play an important role in preparing practical lessons and maintaining safe, well-equipped laboratories.
The Role
Practical Preparation
Prepare equipment and materials for science lessons.
Laboratory Support
Assist teachers during practical activities where required.
Stock Management
Monitor and maintain scientific equipment and supplies.
Health & Safety
Follow COSHH and laboratory safety procedures.
Department Support
Ensure laboratories are organised and ready for teaching.
The Candidate
- Previous laboratory, science technician or relevant practical experience.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Good understanding of laboratory safety.
- Reliable and detail-focused.
- Comfortable working alongside teaching staff and students.
