Main duties

  • Deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group interventions and monitor progress.
  • Scaffold classroom activities and help pupils practise newly taught skills in Croydon.
  • Support sensory regulation and implement behaviour strategies in line with individual plans.
  • Keep clear records, contribute to reviews and liaise with the SENCo, parents and external agencies.
  • Assist with transitions and prepare concise handover notes for receiving staff.

Person specification

  • Prior experience supporting children with SEND and proven ability to deliver interventions as a SEN TA.
  • Calm, adaptable and an effective communicator within the Croydon school community.
  • Able to commence January 2026 and to attend induction and handover sessions before January 2026.
