A busy primary school in Croydon is recruiting a friendly and organised Administrator to join the office team from January 2026. The Administrator will manage reception duties, handle enquiries, update the MIS, support admissions paperwork and assist with parent communications across Croydon. This Administrator role begins January 2026, with induction and handover sessions scheduled ahead of January 2026 to ensure the Administrator is ready for the spring term.

The Administrator will process routine correspondence, support trip and event administration, maintain pupil records and assist senior staff with clerking and document preparation. The Administrator will be an important first point of contact for families and visitors to the Croydon school.
Responsibilities- Manage reception, answer phones and emails and welcome visitors in a professional manner.
- Maintain and update pupil records on the MIS, support admissions and processing requirements.
- Assist with letters, parental communications, event admin and trip paperwork.
- Support basic finance admin (trip payments, income logging) and help coordinate room bookings.
- Keep accurate records, support office systems and contribute to strong home–school communication.
- Experience in an administrative role, ideally in education or a busy office environment.
- Strong ICT skills, confident with databases/MIS, Word and Excel, and a high level of accuracy.
- Friendly, organised and able to manage multiple tasks, communicating clearly with parents and staff in Croydon.
- Available to start January 2026 and to attend induction sessions before January 2026.
