We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a well-regarded Catholic secondary school in the vibrant borough of Croydon. The Role

  • Delivering high-quality lessons in Geography, History, and Religious Studies to Key Stage 3 students.
  • Teaching your specialist subject(s) to GCSE and A-Level, preparing students for examinations and life beyond the classroom.
  • Developing and implementing a dynamic curriculum that encourages critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the world, in line with the school's Catholic ethos.
  • Collaborating with a supportive team to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

Candidate Requirements

  • A degree in History, Geography, Religious Studies, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.
  • Proven experience teaching across the Humanities, with the ability to teach at least one subject to A-Level.
  • A strong passion for your subject and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
  • An understanding and appreciation of the Catholic faith and its values within an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
