We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Crawley. This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Years practitioner to inspire children at a critical stage, supporting them as they begin their formal education and develop a love of learning.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), creating engaging lessons that support children’s communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal development. You will foster a nurturing, structured, and stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel confident, safe, and motivated. Observation and assessment will be central to your role. You will track children’s progress, identify next steps, and provide targeted support to ensure all children reach their full potential. Differentiation and inclusion will ensure every child’s needs are met. You will work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the Early Years team to maintain consistency and high-quality provision.
