This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is confident handling a varied workload and takes pride in providing an efficient and professional service to the whole school community.
The successful candidate will become an important point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors. You will be involved in a broad range of administrative responsibilities, from maintaining pupil records and responding to enquiries to supporting admissions, attendance and general school operations.
No two days in a school office are exactly the same, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable adapting to changing priorities and dealing with enquiries professionally. You will need to have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm when the office is busy.

Responsibilities

Supporting admissions and new pupil administration.

Processing pupil information and documentation.

Supporting attendance administration.

Preparing letters, reports and school communications.

Managing incoming and outgoing post.

Ordering stationery and office supplies.

Maintaining confidential administrative records.

Supporting parents' evenings and school events.

Assisting the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks.

Liaising with parents and external organisations.

Supporting general reception and office duties.

Ensuring the school office remains organised and professional.
Requirements

Previous administration experience.

School administration experience is desirable.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Experience with school MIS systems is advantageous.
