Job Overview
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting pupils with a wide range of abilities and backgrounds.
The school is looking for a teacher who can create a calm, purposeful classroom environment while developing pupils’ geographical knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4
- Plan differentiated and accessible lessons
- Use assessment to monitor pupil progress
- Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
- Develop pupils’ geographical enquiry and analytical skills
- Contribute to Humanities department meetings and planning
