RS Teacher required January 2026 for a good mixed school based in Colchester. The RS Teacher will join a supportive, academically purposeful and well-led Humanities faculty.

Our Client is seeking a Religious Studies Teacher to deliver KS3–KS4 RS within a dynamic and forward-looking secondary school in Colchester. The role includes delivering a curriculum centred on ethics, world religions, philosophy and critical thinking, with opportunities to contribute to cross-curricular discussions on values and cultural understanding.

School Information: This 11–18 school has around 1,200 pupils and is known for its strong pastoral structures, excellent behaviour systems and positive learning culture. The RS department is well resourced, providing structured lesson plans, modern teaching materials, access to digital platforms and guidance for supporting open debate and reflective discussion.
