Music Teacher - Colchester
Our client is currently seeking a passionate and inspirational Music Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Colchester from September. The successful candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for Music and the ability to motivate students through engaging, practical, and well-planned lessons.
The role will involve teaching Music at KS3 and KS4, supporting students as they develop their theoretical knowledge, practical skills, creativity, and confidence. You will be expected to plan effective lessons, assess student progress, and contribute positively to the wider life of the department.
The school has a supportive approach to professional development and encourages teachers to share ideas and contribute to the ongoing development of the Music curriculum. This is an opportunity to become part of a department where Music is valued as an important part of students' wider education.

Experience and Qualifications:
Music Teacher with the ability to teach at KS3 and KS4
Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE
Strong musical knowledge and practical understanding
Ability to engage and inspire students through Music
Effective classroom management and communication skills
Legal ability to work within the UK
