History ECT required January 2026 for a mixed secondary school based in Colchester. Our client is seeking a History ECT to begin their teaching career within a welcoming and academically ambitious secondary school in Colchester. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 History, supported by experienced colleagues and a well-resourced department.

School Information: This 11–18 school educates approximately 1,200 pupils and is known for its strong teaching culture, consistent behaviour standards, and inclusive ethos. The History curriculum is carefully sequenced to build enquiry skills, extended writing, and historical understanding.
