Our Client is looking for a History ECT to work within a large mixed secondary school in Colchester. The successful History ECT will teach KS3 & KS4 and benefit from structured mentoring and ongoing professional development.
School Information: This 11–18 comprehensive has approximately 1,200 pupils and achieves impressive academic results, with 94% gaining grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The History department is known for inspiring curiosity, analytical thinking, and strong written communication through engaging lessons and historical inquiry projects. ECTs are assigned an experienced mentor and benefit from weekly training sessions, lesson planning support, and regular opportunities to observe outstanding teaching.
