We are currently seeking an innovative and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join a leading Independent School in Dorset. This is a full-time, permanent role starting January 2026 within a department that champions innovation, craftsmanship, and problem-solving.

This Dorset Independent School is widely recognised for its modern facilities, academic success, and commitment to developing future innovators. The DT Department is exceptionally well-equipped with CAD/CAM machinery, 3D printers, CNC tools, and design software. Students benefit from a hands-on curriculum that encourages creativity and sustainability.
Role Information
You will teach DT across KS3–KS5, specialising in Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Engineering. You will also support project-based learning, competitions, and after-school design clubs, helping students transform ideas into tangible creations.
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in DT, Product Design, or Engineering
- PGCE and QTS (or equivalent)
- Experience teaching up to A Level desirable
- Strong technical skills and passion for design education
