A welcoming Primary School in Cheltenham is looking to appoint a dependable and proactive Site Supervisor to join its dedicated premises team. Working closely with the Headteacher and School Business Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the school site, ensuring buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard. You will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, supporting health and safety compliance and helping to ensure the school remains a safe and inspiring place for children to learn.

The Site Team is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure and well-presented school environment throughout the year.
Responsibilities:- Opening and securing the school site each day.
- Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Completing daily site inspections.
- Monitoring heating, lighting and security systems.
- Supporting contractors while on site.
- Preparing classrooms and halls for school events.
- Maintaining outdoor play areas and pathways.
- Monitoring fire safety equipment.
- Supporting health and safety compliance.
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests.
- Assisting with deliveries and furniture movement.
- Maintaining maintenance records.
- Ensuring the site remains clean and presentable.
- Supporting emergency procedures where required.
- Reporting larger repairs to the School Business Manager.
- Previous site or caretaking experience is desirable.
