Our client is seeking a skilled D&T Workshop Technician to join their active design engineering department from September. This role is ideal for a candidate with practical workshop experience who wants to support Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 (A-Level) practical design projects.
Key duties include preparing timber, metal, and plastic materials for practical lessons, maintaining power tools, 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machinery, and ensuring workshops adhere to strict health and safety standards (DATA guidelines). You will also assist subject teachers during live practical sessions, helping students safely operate machinery and tools.

Experience and Qualifications

Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to safety and equipment inventory management
