Core Responsibilities

Assemble apparatus and prepare solutions, chemicals, and biological specimens for student experiments.

Clear away equipment safely after lessons, washing up glassware and returning items to storage.

Conduct routine maintenance, safety inspections, and electrical testing of laboratory equipment.

Monitor chemical stocks, waste disposal, and safety data sheets according to COSHH rules.

Support teachers in maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating learning workspace.
About You

Background in science (biology, chemistry, or physics) through education or employment.

Familiarity with school laboratory safety standards and CLEAPSS guidelines.
