RS ECT required January 2026. Good mixed school based in Chelmsford. RS ECT to join a caring, reflective and academically focused Humanities department.

Our Client is seeking an RS ECT for a nurturing school in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will teach KS3 & KS4 and benefit from a comprehensive induction package designed to build confidence and teaching expertise.

School Information: This 11–18 comprehensive educates around 1,150 students and maintains strong academic performance supported by a well-organised Humanities faculty. The RS curriculum encourages moral reasoning, philosophical thinking, debate and reflective learning.

ECTs receive mentoring from experienced RS teachers, access to school-wide CPD, opportunities for peer observations and additional development time built into the timetable. Staff describe the school as inclusive, respectful and supportive, with leadership committed to staff wellbeing and career growth.

Salary: Paid to scale on MPS.
