History Teacher required January 2026 for a mixed secondary school based in Great Baddow. The History Teacher will join a reflective and academically focused Humanities team.
Our Client is seeking a History Teacher to deliver KS3 and KS4 History within a well-organised and ambitious Humanities faculty. The successful History Teacher will contribute to enquiry-based learning, extended writing development and curriculum enrichment across the department.
School Information: This 11–18 school educates around 1,250 students and maintains strong academic outcomes supported by well-established behaviour expectations and consistent pastoral systems. The Humanities faculty benefits from subject-specialist classrooms, digital archives, shared assessment resources and regular curriculum planning time. Staff describe the culture as calm, professional and highly collaborative. Leadership provides regular CPD, subject development time and clear communication across the school.
