ASAP Start | Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Temporary – 1 Term+ | £120–£130 per day depending on experience
I’m working with a school in Essex that is looking for a friendly and organised General Admin Assistant to join their school office.
You’ll be helping with the usual day-to-day administration, while also providing reception cover and being one of the first points of contact for parents, visitors and staff.
What you'll be doing

Answering the phone and dealing with general enquiries.

Welcoming visitors and parents to reception.

Responding to emails and passing information to the relevant staff.

Updating pupil records and school systems.

Helping with attendance and general pupil administration.

Preparing letters, documents and other correspondence.

Filing, scanning and keeping paperwork organised.

Providing general support to the wider office team.
What we're looking for
Previous school administration, reception or general office experience would be ideal.
You’ll need to be approachable, organised and confident dealing with people, as well as comfortable using Microsoft Office. The ability to stay calm and organised when the office gets busy is important.
Experience with Arbor, SIMS or Bromcom would be advantageous, although this isn't essential.
