Our client is seeking an ambitious, trauma-informed English Teacher to join their skilled multidisciplinary team from September. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for a Main Scale Teacher (NQT/ECT or experienced) with a strong passion for differentiated learning, emotional literacy, and small-class academic delivery.

The successful candidate will teach English to pupils with diverse SEMH profiles, complex communication needs, and associated behavioral challenges. Classes are small (typically 6 to 8 pupils) and supported by dedicated Teaching Assistants. You will focus on building relational trust, implementing positive behavior strategies, adapting curriculum pathways (including Functional Skills, Step Up to English, and GCSE), and creating a calm, therapeutic classroom atmosphere.

The English department benefits from bespoke sensory spaces, modern digital media tools, and collaborative working with on-site speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, and occupational therapists.
