A dynamic and well-resourced Technology Specialist School in Chelmsford is seeking a Design & Technology Technician to support teaching across Product Design, Engineering and Graphics starting in January.

School Information: This school has a strong tradition of practical learning and innovation. Workshops are equipped with 3D printers, CNC machines, laser cutters, CAD/CAM suites, and extensive materials stock. Technicians are fully integrated into department planning and resource design — this is not a “back room” role; you will be involved in supporting teaching and learning.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and maintaining machinery and practical resources
  • Supporting safe workshop practice and demonstration setups
  • Basic repairs and upkeep of equipment
  • Ordering materials and managing stock
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety expectations

Experience and Qualifications:
