Our client is seeking an inspirational and creative Art Teacher to join a highly successful secondary school in Chelmsford. The school is looking for an individual who can encourage students to develop their creativity, confidence and technical skills while maintaining high standards of achievement.
The successful Art Teacher will teach KS3 and KS4, delivering a broad and engaging curriculum covering a range of artistic disciplines, techniques and media. You will join a well-resourced department with dedicated teaching spaces and colleagues who are passionate about Art and Design education.
This position would be suitable for an experienced teacher or ECT, and the school is also happy to consider applications from overseas-trained teachers with a formal teaching qualification and QTS.

Experience and Qualifications

Art Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4

Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as PGCE

Strong knowledge of Art and Design techniques and processes

Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons

Good classroom management and organisational skills

Commitment to student progress and creative development

Right to work in the UK
