Caretaker
A welcoming Mixed Secondary School in Carlisle is seeking a dependable and hardworking Caretaker to join its premises team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school site remains safe, secure, clean and well-maintained throughout the year.
Responsibilities will include opening and closing the site, carrying out routine maintenance tasks, conducting site inspections, supporting health and safety compliance, monitoring contractors and assisting with school events and activities.
You will work closely with school leaders and external providers to ensure maintenance issues are identified and resolved efficiently while maintaining high standards across the site.
The successful candidate will be practical, organised and capable of working independently while contributing positively to the wider school community.
