The Opportunity & Contract Profile
This highly successful Outstanding primary academy requires a reliable and hardworking Caretaker. The school needs a practical hands-on individual to maintain the daily security, cleanliness and functionality of the building. This is a crucial role supporting the smooth operation of a busy inner-city primary school.
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
- Access Anchor: Key holder duties managing alarm systems and securely locking up and opening the premises for morning/evening use.
- Maintenance Mechanic: Performing minor repairs (general maintenance and decorating) and managing external contractor access.
- Presentation Partner: Ensuring all internal and external areas are kept clean, tidy and suitable for the young children including setting up resources for events.
Compensation & Benefits
Essential Requirements: Proven experience in a maintenance or site support role, practical skills and strong commitment to H&S awareness.
Salary: Competitive salary reflecting Inner London weighting.
