Our client is seeking an articulate, detail-oriented SENCo to join their Senior Leadership Team from September. Serving as the primary advocate for pupils with additional learning needs, neurodiversity, and physical disabilities, you will ensure every child receives tailored support to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Your core duties will include:
- Managing statutory Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes
- Leading annual reviews
- Designing high-impact intervention programs
- Maintaining the school's SEND register in full compliance with national frameworks
- Line-managing a dedicated team of Higher Level Teaching Assistants and Teaching Assistants
- Delivering whole-school staff CPD on adaptive teaching strategies
- Collaborating closely with speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, and local authority inclusion officers

- Demonstrated track record of line-managing support staff, conducting diagnostic assessments, and designing adaptive learning plans
- Exceptional interpersonal, reporting, and multi-agency communication skills
