We require an innovative, research-driven Science Teacher to deliver outstanding biology, chemistry, and physics instruction across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. Advanced Laboratory Leadership: Manage specialized school laboratory and research spaces with flawless adherence to CLEAPSS health and safety standards, instructing students in advanced experimental techniques, analytical computing, and complex apparatus handling.
Data-Driven Academic Interventions: Meticulously analyse formative assessment data and mock examination scripts to eliminate core misconceptions, implementing immediate, targeted technical and mathematical interventions to secure top-tier grade boundaries.
Professional Workplace Mentorship: Fulfil full tutor and mentor responsibilities within an established pastoral structure, guiding students through academic tracking, professional portfolio development, and technical career or higher education pathways.
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching credential, paired with a strong honours degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related quantitative natural science discipline.
Pedagogical Capability: A proven track record or clear capacity to deliver exceptional progress metrics and analytical confidence in terminal public GCSE and post-16 linear examinations through explicit, high-impact STEM pedagogy.
Industry Orientation: An alignment with technical, employer-led education, demonstrating the capacity to confidently supervise high-level practical investigations and engage meaningfully with external academic and industrial stakeholders.
