We require a polished, highly articulate, and welcoming front-of-house professional to manage our main school reception area. The role involves acting as the primary ambassador for the school, managing incoming inquiries from parents and visitors with exceptional customer service, and executing strict safety sign-in protocols.

KEY TASKS & DAILY OPERATIONS

  • Visitor Welcoming & Security: Greet parents, alumni, visiting academics, and contractors with a high level of professionalism, ensuring all statutory safeguarding checks, ID verifications, and badge allocations are completed.
  • Communication Hub Management: Oversee the central switchboard and general school email account, efficiently triaging and routing inquiries, admissions questions, and urgent messages to the appropriate departments.
  • Student Front-Desk Services: Act as a central point of contact for students throughout the day, managing late arrivals, coordinating early departures for medical appointments, and distributing internal messages.
  • Admissions & Events Assistance: Support the administrative and admissions teams during peak periods by organizing visitor information packs, coordinating tour logistics, and assisting with arrangements for open mornings.
  • Mail & Courier Coordination: Manage all incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and specialized courier services, ensuring time-sensitive academic and administrative packages are distributed immediately.
