Are you a reflective and creative Reception Teacher seeking a Full-Time role in an Outstanding Cambridge primary from January 2026? This Outstanding school is recruiting a Reception Teacher to join a high-quality EYFS team. The successful Reception Teacher will begin pre-term planning prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Reception Teacher.

The Reception Teacher will design continuous provision that blends play with intentional adult-led teaching, lead daily phonics and language sessions, and focus on early mathematics routines. The Reception Teacher will be supported with mentor coaching, structured CPD and collaborative planning sessions beginning in the weeks before January 2026 and continuing through January 2026 and beyond.

Reception Teacher — core responsibilities
  • As the Reception Teacher, plan and deliver high-quality continuous provision and focused adult-led sessions.
  • The Reception Teacher will run daily phonics, early reading and early maths and will use observation to assess children against the Early Learning Goals.
  • The Reception Teacher will communicate progress to families and lead transition into Year 1, with activities planned for January 2026 and implemented after January 2026.
