The Role
• Teaching: Deliver History across KS3–KS5.
• Historical Thinking: Develop students’ ability to analyse evidence and historical interpretations.
• Debate: Encourage thoughtful discussion and independent opinions.
• Examinations: Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level assessments.
• Research: Encourage students to investigate historical sources independently.
• Enrichment: Support History clubs, trips, lectures, and competitions.
• Progress: Monitor and assess student development.
The Candidate
• Degree in History or related subject preferred.
• Strong knowledge of British and international History.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Able to challenge academically able students.
• Strong classroom management.
• Passionate about historical enquiry.
