The Role
β’ Teaching: Deliver History across KS3βKS5.
β’ Historical Thinking: Develop studentsβ ability to analyse evidence and historical interpretations.
β’ Debate: Encourage thoughtful discussion and independent opinions.
β’ Examinations: Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level assessments.
β’ Research: Encourage students to investigate historical sources independently.
β’ Enrichment: Support History clubs, trips, lectures, and competitions.
β’ Progress: Monitor and assess student development.
The Candidate
β’ Degree in History or related subject preferred.
β’ Strong knowledge of British and international History.
β’ Excellent analytical and communication skills.
β’ Able to challenge academically able students.
β’ Strong classroom management.
β’ Passionate about historical enquiry.
