A sixth-form academy in Cambridge is seeking a Computer Science Teacher to teach GCSE and advanced-level students.
This is an opportunity for a technically confident teacher who enjoys helping students move from writing simple programs to thinking rigorously about algorithms, data structures and computational systems. You will teach programming, prepare students for examinations and encourage independent project work.
The academy values teachers who can connect theory with practical application. Students may explore cybersecurity, networking, databases, artificial intelligence and software development alongside the core curriculum.
You should have strong Computer Science knowledge and confidence with programming. A degree in Computer Science, Computing or a closely related subject is desirable, as is experience teaching examination classes.
