A creative and well-respected secondary school in Cambridge is seeking an Art Technician to join their Visual Arts department immediately. This role would suit someone who is organised, patient, and comfortable working in a lively, expressive studio environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare materials for lessons (paper, inks, canvases, clay, printmaking plates, textiles)
- Help set up and clear down studio spaces
- Support students during practical work, encouraging safe, thoughtful technique
- Manage stock levels and coordinate supply orders
- Contribute to exhibition curation, corridor displays and GCSE portfolio presentation
