A vibrant secondary school in Cambridge is looking for a proactive and creative Art Technician to support the Art and Design Technology faculty from January 2026. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual with skills in 3D media, ceramics, and photography.
You will be responsible for maintaining the art studios and darkroom, preparing materials (paints, clay, printing presses), mounting student work for display, and assisting teachers with practical demonstrations across all media.
Experience and Qualifications- Practical experience in an art studio or similar creative environment.
- Proven skills in handling and preparing a wide range of art materials (e.g., mixing glazes, preparing screens).
- Knowledge of art equipment safety and basic maintenance.
- A portfolio or qualification in Fine Art/Design is an advantage.
