A successful Primary School in Bury is seeking an experienced and motivated Premises Manager to oversee the management of its buildings, grounds and facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong facilities management experience who is committed to maintaining a safe, secure and well-presented learning environment for pupils and staff.
Working closely with the Headteacher and School Business Manager, you will lead all aspects of site management, ensuring statutory compliance, managing contractors and overseeing planned maintenance programmes. The successful candidate will become a valued member of the wider leadership support team, helping to ensure the school continues to provide an outstanding environment for learning.

The Premises Team is responsible for ensuring the school remains safe, compliant and fully operational throughout the year.

- Monitoring fire safety systems and emergency procedures.
- Managing maintenance budgets.

- Preparing facilities for school events.
- Monitoring site security and access control.
- Supporting future improvement projects.
- Managing maintenance schedules.
- Ensuring the school remains clean, safe and welcoming.
- Reporting directly to the School Business Manager and Headteacher.
- Previous premises or facilities management experience.
- Experience supervising staff and contractors.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
