We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Buckinghamshire on a part-time, fixed-term contract starting January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Science Teacher or an ECT seeking a part-time role within a supportive and academically ambitious school environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Teaching Science across KS3–KS4 (specialism welcomed but not essential)
  • Planning and delivering engaging and practical science lessons
  • Assessing student progress and providing high-quality feedback
  • Participating in departmental meetings and planning (within part-time hours)
  • Contributing to the school’s academic and pastoral aims

Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree in a Science-related discipline
  • PGCE with QTS (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners

Contract Details

  • Part-time role (0.4–0.6 FTE depending on preference)
  • Fixed-term contract until July 2026
  • Potential for extension or permanency depending on school need

Salary Paid to scale – MPS/UPS (pro rata)
