A welcoming Primary School in the London Borough of Bromley is seeking a dependable and proactive Site Supervisor to join its premises team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied and practical role while taking pride in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school site operates efficiently every day and is maintained to the highest possible standard.
Working closely with the Headteacher and School Business Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Opening and securing the school site
- Carrying out daily inspections
- Responding to maintenance requests
- Completing minor repairs across classrooms, offices and communal areas
- Ensuring the buildings and grounds remain clean, safe and fully operational throughout the academic year
- Supervising contractors working on site
- Coordinating planned maintenance programmes
- Assisting with health and safety compliance
- Preparing facilities for assemblies, performances, sports events, parents' evenings and other whole-school activities
- Maintaining external grounds
- Monitoring security systems
- Assisting with deliveries
- Ensuring all maintenance records remain up to date
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent practical skills, strong organisational abilities and the confidence to work independently while maintaining consistently high standards across the school site.
