About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Music Teacher to make a meaningful impact. You will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that foster a love of literature, language, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Music across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a range of abilities
  • Inspire students through creative and stimulating approaches to Music
  • Develop students’ analytical, writing, and communication skills
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
  • Assess and monitor progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities such as reading clubs, writing competitions, or theatre visits

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Is passionate about Music and inspiring young people
  • Holds a degree in Music or a related subject
  • Has QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
  • Has experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Is an engaging and enthusiastic classroom practitioner
  • Builds strong relationships with students and colleagues
  • Is committed to high standards and ongoing professional development
