An Outstanding Ofsted School in Bromley is seeking a dedicated and organised Attendance Officer to join its highly successful pastoral team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in supporting student achievement, wellbeing and engagement through the effective management of attendance procedures.
The successful candidate will monitor attendance across the school, ensuring records are maintained accurately and interventions are implemented promptly where concerns arise. You will work closely with students, parents, pastoral leaders and external agencies to improve attendance and remove barriers to learning.
Responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring daily attendance
- Conducting first-day absence calls
- Analysing attendance data
- Producing reports
- Supporting attendance improvement strategies
- Assisting with safeguarding procedures
