Are you an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher ready to build strong foundations in early reading, phonics and number from January 2026? A friendly primary school in Bristol is recruiting a Year 1 Teacher to join a supportive KS1 team focused on securing rapid progress and positive behaviour. The Year 1 Teacher will plan engaging, evidence-informed lessons that develop essential skills in phonics, reading, writing and early mathematics.

Working in Bristol, the successful Year 1 Teacher will collaborate with teaching assistants to deliver targeted interventions, maintain accurate assessment records and communicate regularly with parents. Induction and planning sessions will take place before January 2026 to ensure a confident start to the spring term beginning January 2026.
