Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Science Technician to join their busy science faculty from September. This is a full-time position, ideal for a science graduate, experienced school technician, or laboratory professional looking for a rewarding role in education.
The successful candidate will prepare laboratory equipment, chemical solutions, and practical materials for Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE), and Key Stage 5 (A-Level) science lessons. Key duties include:
- Managing chemical storage following CLEAPSS and COSHH guidelines
- Maintaining and calibrating lab equipment
- Assisting teachers during live practical demonstrations
- Ensuring strict health and safety protocols across all science prep rooms and laboratories

Experience and Qualifications

- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accurate inventory management
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively alongside teaching staff and pupils
