A high-performing 11–18 secondary school in Bristol, rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science ECT to join their dynamic Science Department from January 2026. This full-time, permanent position offers exceptional mentoring, professional development, and the chance to begin your teaching career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3–KS4, with the opportunity to specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at KS5 as their confidence grows. You will plan and deliver engaging, experiment-based lessons that encourage curiosity, independent thinking, and practical investigation. Working closely with experienced colleagues and a supportive Head of Science, you will receive structured induction support, regular coaching sessions, and dedicated PPA time to refine your classroom practice. ECTs are also invited to take part in STEM enrichment, such as science clubs, competitions, and eco-initiatives.
